Key metrics in Dashboard Pro for running a profitable aftermarket

  • Revenue
Shows the total sales generated by the workshop – a fundamental indicator of revenue.

  • Gross Margin & Gross Profit
Provides a quick view of workshop profitability: how much is actually left after costs.

  • Productivity
How much of the technicians’ time is spent on actual work. Directly linked to efficiency and income.

  • Efficiency
How quickly the work is completed compared to the estimated time. Indicates the quality of planning and execution.

  • Utilisation Rate
The proportion of working time spent on billable tasks. One of the workshop’s most important key metrics.

  • Billed Hours
Shows how much of the technicians’ work has actually turned into income.

  • Lost Revenue – Labour
Shows the value of time that wasn’t billed – e.g. due to inefficiency, errors, waiting time or dropouts.

  • Effective Hourly Revenue per Attendance Hour
Indicates how much income the workshop actually generates per hour worked. A very clear measure of how effectively time is used and how profitable the workshop is per labour hour.

  • Clocked Hours – Work Orders
The number of hours technicians have registered as work on customer jobs. Shows how much of the time generates income.

  • Clocked Hours – Other Work
Hours not directly linked to customer jobs, e.g. internal admin, cleaning or meetings. Helps highlight how much time cannot be billed.

  • Inactive Hours
Time when technicians are present but not working on anything (e.g. waiting for parts or instructions). An important indicator of inefficiency and lost revenue.

  • Gross Profit and Gross Margin
